About Finding Adelaide

Finding Adelaide is a curated guide to South Australia — a way to cut through the noise and find places worth knowing. Thoughtful recommendations, seasonal itineraries, and stories that reflect the real texture of this state.

I began Finding Adelaide in 2011 as a small blog, mostly for myself. I’d moved here and found it surprisingly difficult to uncover the places I knew must exist — the ones with atmosphere, intention, and a sense of discovery. South Australia has so much to offer, but it often hides its best bits. Over time, the project shifted to Instagram and grew alongside my work in content, design, and tourism, naturally becoming a more considered space.

My hope is that Finding Adelaide helps people feel more at home here — whether they’re visiting for the first time or rediscovering their own backyard. If it leads someone to a place they end up loving, then it’s doing what it was created to do.

About the Founder

I’m Grace, an artist and creative based in Adelaide. My background includes work across photography, design, tourism, and digital advertising — all of which shape how I approach Finding Adelaide. I’m drawn to places with intention, good atmosphere, and a sense of story, and that’s the lens I bring to this platform.

For Brands

I work with a small number of venues, events, and tourism operators each season. Collaborations include a range of paid packages — from storytelling reels and curated features to full content capture.
